Ann is a  versatile composer, arranger, guitarist and vocalist who  lives and works in New York City. She is featured  on Latin-jazz great Bobby Paunetto’s  album “Composer in Public” and has to her credit an album of original solo pieces for Valentino Music, an international music library. A long-time member of the BMI Jazz Composers’ Workshop, she has received two nominations for the BMI Charlie Parker Award for jazz orchestral writing. She is now the resident musician with Big Apple Playback,an improvisational theater troupe which  travels to venues which range from battered womens’ shelters to corporate retreats. Recently she became the music director and choir director of Montclair Unity Church in Montclair, N.J. As an arranger, she’s worked for Swing Fever, Gary Lovett’s Hall of Fame, and many others. She has also been the recipient of a “Composers in Residence” grant in conjunction with that event, for the performance of a piece for jazz orchestra called “Kansas”.
